Types of Hemorrhoids:
Internal Hemorrhoids: located inside the rectum and are usually painless, although they may cause bleeding during bowel movements. In more advanced stages, they can prolapse, meaning they protrude outside the anus and may require medical treatment.
External Hemorrhoids: develop under the skin surrounding the anus and are often more noticeable than internal hemorrhoids. They can cause pain, swelling, itching, irritation, and discomfort, especially during sitting or bowel movements.
Thrombosed hemorrhoids: occur when a blood clot develops inside an external hemorrhoid, leading to severe pain, swelling, and inflammation around the anal area. Due to the intense discomfort and risk of complications, prompt medical evaluation and treatment are often recommended.
Prolapsed hemorrhoids: are internal hemorrhoids that extend outside the anal opening due to increased swelling and pressure. They may cause discomfort, irritation, and difficulty during bowel movements, and in some cases may require manual repositioning or surgical treatment.
